ISO 9001 — Certified
Enersens operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system covering the design, production, and distribution of silica aerogel products. Full production traceability from feedstock to finished product, with documented processes at every stage.
EN 9100 / AS 9100 — In progress
Aerospace and defense quality management certification is underway, targeted for 2026. EN 9100 adds aerospace-specific requirements on top of ISO 9001: configuration management, risk assessment, special process controls, and enhanced traceability for flight-critical supply chains.

Fire and flammability
UL94 V-0
All Skogar® grades achieve UL94 V-0 classification — the highest rating for vertical burning classification. Self-extinguishing, no flaming drips. Applies to thicknesses ≥ 1.0 mm; the ST 0.5 mm variant is tested to ISO 3795.
FAR 25.853 Appendix F
Skogar® HT, VHT, and UHT are certified to FAR 25.853 Appendix F — the fire-safety standard required for materials used in commercial aircraft. This certification is a hard prerequisite for cabin, cargo, and fire-zone applications in aerospace.
Regulatory compliance
Chemical and environmental
REACH
All Skogar® products comply with the EU REACH regulation (EC 1907/2006). No substances of very high concern (SVHC) are used in the manufacturing process. Compliance documentation available on request.
RoHS
Skogar® products comply with the EU RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). As mineral-based composites, they do not contain restricted substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, or hexavalent chromium.
